LS (Ubiquity Plugin)
Ubiquity is a great Firefox Plugin to enhance the user experience. I was impressed by the comman-editor of Uibiquity (Wikipedia) and made some experiments with it. As a result, I implemented ls a plugin that enhances Ubiquity with a local search. “Local” not in the sense of geographically local but “local” in the sense of local on the site you are currently browsing. That means: when you are on an arbitrary site and you want to search this site, you can use “ls {search term}”. The plugin automatically tries to locate the search form of the site and launches it. If the local search form can’t be found, “ls” tries a Google search with the “site:” option.
